Born in 1998, Léa Descombes graduates with a Bachelor of Laws (2020), a Certificate in Transnational Law (2022) and a Master of Laws (2023) from the University of Geneva. During her Master’s degree, she completes an exchange semester at the University of Melbourne. She also holds the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Professions (ECAV) from the University of Geneva (2022).
Simultaneously to her studies, Léa Descombes works as a paralegal at the firm Schellenberg Wittmer (2019 – 2020) and as a research assistant to Professor Audrey Leuba at the University of Geneva, in the field of inheritance law and estate planning (2020 – 2021). She also completes several internships with various law firms and notaries, most recently with Oberson Abels. In 2023, she works as a trainee lawyer at the Criminal Court of Geneva.
Léa Descombes joins the law firm Canonica Valticos & Associés as a junior associate in January 2024.
